Zak O’Sullivan today confirmed he will join ART Grand Prix for the 2024 FIA Formula 2 Championship. The 18-year-old from Cheltenham joins the French outfit for his Formula 2 debut, after a successful sophomore season in FIA Formula 3 with four wins, placing second in the standings.

O’Sullivan began his car racing career in 2019 and has already achieved considerable success. Zak secured runners-up honours in the Ginetta Junior Championship, before graduating to the FIA F4 British Championship in 2020 with a record nine race wins. After a breakout season winning the 2021 GB3 Championship, he joined the Williams Racing Driver Academy and made his debut in FIA Formula 3. Zak’s second season in Formula 3 delivered the most race wins of any driver, along with second overall. Zak looks to make an impact on his Formula 2 debut with ART Grand Prix.

Zak O’Sullivan:

“I am delighted to join forces with ART Grand Prix for the 2024 FIA Formula 2 season. The team has clearly demonstrated it has all the attributes to win, so I cannot wait to get started. ART have already made me feel very welcome. 2024 is set to be an exciting year and I feel ready for the challenge.”
