Williams F1 Academy talent and 2023 FIA Formula 3 championship contender Zak O’Sullivan collected the keys to his new Mercedes A-Class earlier this month, courtesy of new-for-2023 partner Sytner Group.
The young driver from Cheltenham was pleased to collect his first car from his local branch, Mercedes-Benz of Cheltenham & Gloucester, welcomed by Head of Business Craig Gilbertson.
Speaking with Craig, Zak said:
“First off, I love the car. I’m so thankful for the support. It’s an honour to partner with the Sytner Group through their Cheltenham and Gloucester Mercedes showroom.
I think it’s a natural partnership with the Mercedes and Williams Racing connection, and I’m looking forward to working with the Sytner team throughout 2023. I’m grateful for the support and hospitality that Craig and his team have extended to me and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with them throughout the season.”
Craig Gilbertson added:
Sytner Mercedes-Benz are very pleased and excited to partner with Zak for the 2023 season and look forward to watching him impress again in F3 this year. We share Zak’s passion for outstanding performance and constant improvement, and both developing future talent and supporting our local community are key aims for our group. Good luck to Zak and the Team this weekend!
