Envision Racing will field British driver Zak O’Sullivan during the Miami E-Prix Rookie Free Practice session, which takes place on Friday, 30 January.
The session marks O’Sullivan’s third on-track appearance with the Silverstone-based team. In 2025, he also tested for Envision Racing in Jeddah and Berlin, alongside completing numerous simulator sessions throughout the year.
The 40-minute rookie session will provide O’Sullivan with further valuable mileage in the Gen3 Evo car while gathering data to support Envision Racing’s race drivers, Sébastien Buemi and Joel Eriksson, ahead of the race weekend. The session will also contribute to O’Sullivan’s ongoing simulator development work with the team.
O’Sullivan said, “I’m excited to be driving for Envision Racing in Miami. I’ve really enjoyed the Formula E testing I’ve done so far, and I’ll be working closely with the team to ensure they head into the race weekend in the strongest possible position.”
Managing Director of Envision Racing, Sylvain Filippi, said: “The rookie session gives Zak the opportunity to gain further experience and provide valuable feedback ahead of the race weekend. We’re looking forward to seeing Zak back in the car, particularly at a brand-new circuit for Formula E.“
The Miami E-Prix will be the inaugural Formula E race at the Miami International Autodrome, with the race taking place on Saturday, 31 January.
